Green Teacher Award
Each year
over 2300 schools take part in Schools Clean Up Day, but the contribution of
teachers towards the environment does not end there. Many teachers have been
working on environmental projects, inspiring the next generation to learn about
environmental sustainability.
Sponsored by Sanyo Oceania, the Green Teacher Award is about
rewarding those teachers who go the extra mile to inspire school students by
initiating innovative environmental projects within their school communities.

One winner will be chosen from each state and territory.
Each state/territory winner will
receive a three day trip to
All travel and ground expenses are included. State/territory
winners will also receive a Sanyo Eneloop Family Pack containing a selection of
rechargeable batteries and a solar battery charger.
A national winner will be selected
from the state/territory winners and, in addition to the above prizes, will
receive a Promethean 387 Pro Widescreen interactive whiteboard and PLC-WXL46
projector wih GLWLXL45 bracket for their school. Free training will be provided
in using the whiteboard for up to four people for one day.
Closing date for all entries is 5pm (AEST) Friday 26th March 2010.
Entries received after 5pm (AEST) on Friday 26th March 2010 will not be accepted.
