Local Hero Award
Clean Up Australia Day’s success is mostly down to the volunteers who give their time to clean up, fix up and conserve our environment.Over 20 years, millions of volunteers have participated and helped to collect 250,000 tonnes of rubbish, which is absolutely amazing.
Clean Up Australia would like to recognise volunteers who have participated in at least 10 Clean Up Australia Days including Clean Up Australia Day 2010, including and ask you to nominate JUST1 volunteer who has made an exceptional contribution to CUAD.
A Local Hero, who has participated in Clean Up Australia Day 2010, will be selected from each state / territory to receive an eco-friendly 3 day short break courtesy of TakeABreak.
NB: This award is not open to site coordinators. Site coordinators, however are permitted to nominate a local hero of their choice.
Closing date for all entries is 5pm (AEST) Friday 26th March 2010.
Entries received after 5pm (AEST) on Friday 26th March 2010 will not be accepted.
