The Local Council Award seeks to celebrate and recognise Councils that support their community and lead the way with waste management initiatives.

Outline your Council's efforts and activities for the 2010 Local Council Award.

The winning council will be awarded $5000 towards the implementation / sustaining of an environmental initiative.

The Site Coordinator Award seeks to celebrate and recognise Site Coordinators who have contributed to the continued success of Clean Up Australia Day.

The Local Hero Award seeks to celebrate and recognise volunteers who have been JUST1 person to make a difference in their community through Clean Up Australia Day.

Nominate them for the 2010 Local Hero Award.

A Local Hero from each state/territory will be awarded with a 3 day eco-friendly short break for two.

Green Teacher Award

Do you know a teacher whose work to improve the environment inspires the whole community?

The Green Teacher Award seeks to celebrate and recognise teachers who have been a positive influence on students by carrying out environmental projects within their school community.

Nominate them for the 2010 Green Teacher Award.

A Green Teacher will be selected from each state/territory to take a 3 day trip to Sanyo's Solar Ark in Japan. An overall winner will be selected to win additional items for their school.
